Manufactured in our own semi-trailer workshop, the 3 Axle Dropside Semi Trailer is a versatile workhorse built for easy, flexible loading. Its dropside boards can be lowered, removed or folded, allowing simultaneous loading and unloading from both the side and the rear — so it adapts easily to tight sites and restricted areas where rear-only access is not enough. With a 12,500 mm deck, 40-ton payload class and a 500 mm Q345B main beam, it handles bulk agricultural produce, building materials, minerals and general cargo with equal ease.

High-Strength Q345B Main Beam

The main beam is built from Q345B carbon steel with a 500 mm section — upper plate 14 mm, lower plate 16 mm and middle plate 8 mm. This heavy-section design delivers strong bending and torsional resistance for repeated heavy-load cycles.

Complete Chassis Surface Treatment

The complete chassis is sand-blasted to remove rust, then finished with one coat of anti-rust primer and two coats of final paint. This multi-layer treatment extends service life in humid coastal and rainy conditions.

Bulk Agricultural Produce

Rapid loading and unloading of grain, fertilizer and other farm materials — the drop sides open for fast bulk handling from either side.

Building Materials

Suited to bricks, cement bags, steel and packaged construction supplies that need side access for forklift or manual handling.

Inter-Industry Intermodal Transport (with container locks fitted)

With container locks installed, the same trailer doubles as a container carrier for road-rail and road-sea intermodal work — one trailer, two roles.

During each visit we walk customers through the production line — from main-beam welding and side-board assembly to chassis painting and the pre-delivery inspection checklist — and let them review the frame, side boards and electrical system details on site. Q1: What makes a dropside trailer different from a fixed side wall trailer?

The side boards can be lowered, removed or folded, so you can load and unload from the side as well as the rear. This makes it far more adaptable on tight sites where rear-only access is not possible.

Q2: What are the main dimensions and weights?

Overall dimension is 12500 × 2500 × 2550 mm with a box inner size of 12100 × 2420 × 800 mm. Tare weight is 7,350 kg and total weight is 47,350 kg.

Q3: Can it also carry containers?

Yes. With container locks fitted, the same dropside trailer can be used for container haulage and intermodal road-rail or road-sea transport.

Q4: What about the chassis build quality?

The main beam is Q345B carbon steel with a 500 mm section (upper 14 mm, lower 16 mm, middle 8 mm). The complete chassis is sand-blasted, then given one coat of anti-rust primer and two coats of final paint.

Q5: Can the board height and configuration be customized?

Yes. We build in our own workshop, so side board height, steel grade, axle configuration and paint colour can all be tailored to your cargo and road conditions.

Q6: How is the trailer shipped, and what is the lead time?

We ship by bulk carrier, Ro-Ro or flat-rack container depending on your route and volume. Standard production is 20-30 working days after deposit and drawing confirmation; customized orders take a little longer.

Q7: What are the payment terms, and are spare parts available?

Payment is 30% T/T deposit with 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading; FOB / CFR / CIF are all acceptable. Genuine wear parts — brake components, suspension parts and electrical components — are available and coordinated after delivery.
