Custom-built in our own workshop, the 60 Ton Tri Axle Drop Side Semi Trailer combines large capacity, heavy-load strength and flexible loading in one trailer. Its drop side boards can be opened, removed or folded, so cargo loads and unloads from the side as well as the rear — ideal for agricultural products, building materials, industrial goods, bulk cargo and palletised freight. With a corrugated high-strength sidewall, a 60T-rated tri-axle chassis and a 12.5 m deck, it is a cost-effective workhorse for highway trunk transport.

High-Strength Drop Side Structure

Sidewalls are made of high-strength steel plate, stamped and formed for impact and deformation resistance. The corrugated sidewall design delivers over 30% more rigidity than a flat structure, and well-spaced sidewall columns prevent lateral impact deformation of the cargo. The boards can be opened, removed or folded for fast side loading and unloading. Full-vehicle hot-dip galvanizing adapts the trailer to harsh rain and salt-spray environments.

Extra-Large Capacity Cargo Box

Cargo box length is 12.5-13.8 m and width 2.48-2.5 m, with an effective volume of 60-100 m³ across multiple specifications. The extended sidewall version maximises volume for lightweight goods, while the extra-wide 2.55 m box makes the most of legal loading limits. Optimised internal clearance height allows multi-layer stacking of palletised goods.

Three-Axle Load Advantage

The tri-axle design distributes axle load evenly and complies with road regulations in various countries, with total weight reaching 40-55 tons when paired with a tractor unit. Lift axle (raised axle) design reduces tire wear when running empty, a steering axle configuration improves manoeuvrability of the extra-long trailer, and the setup stays compatible with axle-load restrictions in different export markets.

High-Strength Frame

Main beams use high-strength Q345/Q550 steel with high yield strength and an I-beam cross-section for excellent bending and torsional resistance. Thickened crossbeams at sensible spacing ensure even load distribution and prevent deformation, while the reinforced gooseneck strengthens the stress-concentration area around the traction pin. Consistent welding throughout the trailer keeps it crack-free under long-term heavy loads.

Standard models take 20-30 working days after deposit and drawing confirmation; customized orders take 30-40 working days. Payment is 30% T/T deposit with 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading; FOB / CFR / CIF are all acceptable.

Q6: How is the trailer shipped, and are spare parts available?

We ship by bulk carrier, Ro-Ro or flat-rack container depending on your route and volume, with anti-corrosion protection applied before loading and complete export documents provided. Genuine wear parts — brake components, suspension parts and sidewall fittings — are available and coordinated after delivery.
